Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) App Challenge Bootcamp
The Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) App Challenge Bootcamp is sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in response to new legislation. The goal of MIPS is to accelerate the transition from the traditional fee-for-service payment model to a system that rewards health care providers for giving better care rather than more care. CMS is interested in creating applications to assist with provider adoption of these payment methods. This workshop will provide developers details around user requirements for the MIPS App challenge which will be announced at Health Datapalooza.
